Rashwan Rifat Paulus is a newly graduate doctor, he is 24 years old, during the third Gulf war, while he was a stager medical student, he served as a volunteer at a specialized center of orthopedic surgery in Baghdad (which at that time turned up to be a casualty unit), after the end of the war he finished his study and soon after graduation he started, as is still, working at the Italian Red Cross Hospital in Baghdad, he is working at the burn unit mainly, but also in the other departments when needed, he wish to be orthopedic surgeon. His hobbies are reading, computer and swimming.

Rashwan è un giovane medico iracheno di 24 anni appena laureato.

Durante la terza guerra del Golfo ha fatto il suo stage da studente in medicina prestando servizio come volontario presso il centro specialistico di chirurgia ortopedica in Baghdad che, a quel tempo, era stato trasformato in una unità di pronto soccorso. Al termine della guerra ha finito i suoi studi e, dopo la laurea, ha iniziato a lavorare presso l’ospedale della Croce Rossa Italiana in Baghdad. Sta lavorando prevalentemente presso il centro ustionati ma, quando necessario, anche in altri reparti. Il suo sogno è di diventare un chirurgo ortopedico. I suoi hobby preferiti sono la lettura, l’uso del computer e il nuoto.
